We produce high quality yearbooks, with a minimum quantity of 500.
We can provide any kind of binding such as:
- Saddle stitching (staples in the spine),
- PURbinding (a more durable cousin of perfect binding)
- Case binding (hard cover).
Tell us what you want and when you need it, and together we will arrange a project deadline to make it happen.
All design and production is done in Australia.
We’d be very happy to provide you with a free quote. Give us a call on 1300 793 317 or send the contact form, and we’ll have a chat.
With the Design and Print Service, we do everything for you. You supply us with your text and photos, and we will turn that raw material into a beautiful yearbook. We save you time by getting things ship-shape from the first draft, so you don't have to make a million changes. We aim to get every page right first time - and we are all perfectionists who can spell! We give close attention to detail ensuring a beautiful design and a yearbook that prints the way it was intended.
Our design team are expert senior graphic designers with many years trade experience. We have know-how to be proud of! It’s this know-how that makes your job as yearbook coordinator that much easier - no surprises, delivery on time, and not too much work for you in the development process. You can find out more in The Yearbook Process article.
If you give us the opportunity of sending you a proposal, we will send you a welcome pack containing some information about Classic Yearbooks, a brief questionnaire to provide us the necessary information, and a prepaid post satchel so you can return it to us with a copy of your last yearbook.
With this information, we can prepare an accurate proposal that addresses all your needs. If you accept our proposal, we will schedule a briefing meeting where you share your ideas and instructions with us. From this brief, we will prepare a selection of design drafts for you. When you have settled on a design you love, we will begin to build your book.
If you wish to prepare your own artwork, we offer a service that will enable you to get the best results out of your printing. It provides a technical "safety net", so you can relax and feel confident that your artwork will deliver the results you are expecting.
Preparing artwork for print is a specialist skill, and in our experience, documents which appear print-ready to a non-professional still have much work to be done. With our debug, polish and print service, you send all your working files to Classic Yearbooks. We will check your files to make sure everything is technically correct.
We will also make your images print-ready and adjust those that are overly light, dark or oddly coloured. It will make your work the best it can be, and prevent surprises in the production of your yearbook.
We won’t alter the design or the content. The kinds of things we check include:
- Binding allowances
- Making all images print ready and adjust any that are too dark or light
- Exporting high quality PDF using special printer’s settings
When we have corrected the document we will send you proofs for a final check before your yearbook goes to prepress.
You will have confidence that the enormous amount of work you have put into the preparation and design of your yearbook will be reflected in a publication that makes you proud. And since your yearbook is also a historical document, it is nice to know that it will last as it should.
If you give us the opportunity of sending you a proposal, we shall send you a welcome pack with some information about Classic Yearbooks, a brief questionnaire to provide us the necessary information, and a postpaid satchel to return the questionnaire and a copy of your last yearbook. With this information we will prepare you a comprehensive proposal with full upfront costings and a project timeline.
